We often get asked these questions: Which is the best bow? Which bow should I buy?
When it comes to choosing what bow is best for you or what is the best bow can depend on a lot of factors. I wouldn’t say there’s a one size fits all bow for anyone out there.
1. You need one that fits you, so it can depend on your size, strength and arm length.
2. It can depend on what your budget is.
3. Selecting a bow is also crucial to the animal in which you’re most likely to hunt! An elk set up if we’re being truthfully honest, is much different than a mule deer set up! Although the same bow might be a good fit for some, others may need to lean a different direction based on a shorter draw length. An elk hunter needs more kinetic energy in shorter distances based on bone density and closer opportunity (this is because an arrow carries less kinetic energy at close range rather than, say 40 yards because of the paradox or porpoising of and arrow/unstable mass) WHOLE NOTHER DISCUSSION) anyway, that being said arrow selection, speed and broadhead can dictate ones need for efficiency as a true ethical hunter!
4. What quality of bow are you looking at getting?
So as you can see there are several factors to consider before buying a bow.
