We often get asked, “how often should I tune my bow?” We recommend tuning your bow or at least getting it checked once a year. There are several reasons to get your bow tuned yearly but the major reason is accuracy and speed. If your bow is not properly tuned then you risk wounding an animal in the field and losing it. No hunter likes to lose an animal or make it suffer unnecessarily, especially because our shot was off because our bow wasn’t tuned in. As hunters it’s our job to make sure we make the cleanest shots and quickest kills possible.
